Cabbagetown Tornado

M@ and Matt D made it to the lofts after witnessing the same green & lightening of the tornado that Lacy & Spencer did. Richard got there shortly after by dodging firemen, police, and Search & Rescue crew. There was the threat of another twister that night, so many residents camped out in the stairwells for a while. We all toured the property. I'm not sure any of us knew what to say. We met one resident in the E building that dodged flying debris as he dove in his bathtub. The firefighters told us that the tornado actually funnelled into the elevator shaft of the E building, which is why the floors collapsed.

Matt, Spencer, Lacy & I went up in the helicopter Sunday to survey the damage. We're hoping to go home soon.
